mBox
mBox is the M3S facility for message mailing between M3S members.
(Note that M3S mail is a proprietary implementation for intra-M3S usage
only and does not interact with any external e-mail systems at this time)
M3S members can compose a mail on either web or handphone, and send
out the message to one or more M3S members.
M3S mail is also used to deliver service notification or data tracking
alerts, with automatic message body generation and automatic mail dispatching.
The M3S message can contain text (multiple languages), images, and call links,
In our example, an M3S mail is sent from the head office to an executive
currently on an oversea business trip. The mail provides the executive with
customer contact/location information with map, addresss, and call link that
the executive can click to call immediately. The example also used up to
four languages to show the usefulness of multi-language in the context of
the example given.

mBook
mBook is the M3S facility for uploading your stories or articles with the M3S mBook web service, and get to read and/or share these reading materials on handphone/PDA.
For example, you may want to run a M3S site with collection of short stories catering to specific readership with specific language. You may track and manage the reader access. You may run your site-specific commercial banners, You may also use the "in-page" call feature to an IVR to provide complementary audio book service, and etc.

In the sample, select the "A Christmas Carol" entry and click "Read the mBook" to start reading.
You can change the page size or start reading at specific offset.
You can go first, last, previous, next to move around in the mBook.
You can also search for words of specific pattern in the mBook.
And you can change the language to see different set of mBooks of the selected language.

Album
M3S album is used to carry multimedia contents that can be viewed or played back on handphone by yourself or your visitors.
The multimedia contents can be uploaded from web or directly from handphone.
For example, you may want to run a M3S site with collection of celebrity rare snapshots. You may manage the album access, run your site-specific commercial banners, You may also use such album service as the "front" of an on-going wallperper downloading service, and etc.
We'd like to see you grow your own mobile service with your own niche contents. Just leave the facilitation to us.
M3S provides uploading facility which allows content uploading from web or directly from handphone. And when uploading from your handphone to your album, M3S allows simultaneous multiple file (e.g. pictures) uplolad for free without the usage of e-mail or MMS.
M3S album can contain entries of various content types such as picture, audio, slideshow...
By default up to 3 entries (e.g. pictures) are display each time.
You can change the number of entries displayed each time by clicking on the [count] link.
You may click on first, last, previous, next links to browse the entire album.
There is also a album entry listing and you may select any entry from the list for immediate display
Pictures are displayed along with the picture label and annotation.
The pictures label is also a link that you can click for download.
When accessing a large album you may want to use the [pattern] link to select entries with names matching the given pattern.
You can forward any interesting album entry to another registered M3S user.
if you're the owner of the album, you may also select a picture and set it as your site logo.

mBlog
M3S mBlog can be set up to be private blog or public blog.
Visitors to private and public blogs can add their comment to the blog entries.
Private blogs are managed and (entries) only added by the blog owner.
Visitors to public blogs are allowed to add their blog entries, not just comments.
Public blogs thus can be deployed as an open forum.
Blog entry can contain text and images.
An image can be added anywhere in the text body of a blog entry by inserting
the image marker and the name of the given image (see our web site for more details).
The image used in the blog entry must be owned by the blogger, or that
the image owner has granted the blogger the (share) right to use the given image.
When accessing a blog, user can click on [start_entry_listing] to get the
of blog entries to select from.
User can use first_entry, last_entry, next_entry, previous_entry to browse the entire blog.
Or user can pick an entry from the entry listing for immediate display.
Each blog entry has its (if any) comment list displayed along with the entry's content.
User may select a comment from the comment list for immediate display or use the
first_comment, last_comment, next_comment, previous_comment to browse the entry comments.

"Hit & Run" shortcut takes you to the spot designated, delivers the
(page) result to your handphone, and takes you out to the M3S main entry point for your next move.
The execution of the shortcut is totally transparent to the user. All you see is the page that you've asked for after you clicked to execute the shortcut.
You can imagine it as sending a SMS request and receiving a well formatted
page with text and pictures.

The M3S service platform is most suitable for serving games that are
strategy or solution oriented.
For example, the Sudoku game can be served with user's choice of difficulty
levels. Points can be collected based on the result of each set of game,
and with updates of top player list from the worldwide community of Sudoku players.

Slideshow
M3S slideshow supports the display of multiple slides in a given sequence with each slide lasts for a predefined amount of time.
M3S slideshow can be used for various purposes in the areas of education, entertainment, commercial, anc etc.
For example, you may want to run a M3S site with daily feed from a collection of slideshows on Chinese business conversation drills. You may track the specific user progress, conduct some M3S assessment based quiz, and use MP3 download or "in-page" call feature to an IVR to provide audio learning aid, You may also run your site-specific commercial banner service, and etc.

For the slideshow sample, upon startup you're placed in an album. Click the Handphone Promotion entry to tart up the sample slideshow.
The sample slideshow contains two slides each lasts 60 seconds.
You can leave the slideshow run by itself and have both slides displayed.
You can click on [next] to advance to next slide prior to automatic slide advancement.
You can also forward the given slideshow to another registered M3S user by clicking on [forward].
You may put current slide on hold by clicking on the [hold].
You may restart the slideshow by clicking on the [restart].

Notepad
M3S notepad is used to "keep notes", i.e. entries of information that are to be used for your own reference, or to be shared among a given group, or made available to general public.
M3S notepad comes with "change tracking" capability, i.e. user can set tracking on a specific notepad entry with various tracking conditions. When the tracking condition is met, the user will be notified accordingly.
For example, you may use a notepad entry to carry the most recent price of a given stock. users either view the notepad entry content, or set a tracker on the notepad entry, e.g. "notify me immediately when the value (of the notepad entry) has increased by 10% or more. When the content of the notepad entry is changed, and the change matches the condition of the given tracker, then the user (the tracker owner) will be notified of the change automatically.
In the sample notepad, you may set a tracker on the IBM Stock Price entry if you did login as a registered user.
Or you may go to the Google WAP site via the URL recorded in one of the notepad entries.
There is a password based access contrl to the sample notepad. You must keyin the password "123" to enter teh sample notepad.

Directory
M3S directory is used to carry entries of information of the same category, such as advertising, address book, ringtone index, wallpaper index, and etc.
M3S directory can be open for postings from general public, or can be a "read-only" service where the directory is exclusivly managed by the directory owner.
When user posts an entry on a given directory, the user is given an unique code that identifies the posted entry directly. This unique posted entry identifying code can be used in various contexts for "single click to your data" effect.
For example, you may want to operate a M3S site for region-specific mobile advertising directory service that is open to public for entyr posting. Such mobile advertising directory service can be itself a independent operation, or as a complementary service add-on to some existing commercial directories, and etc.
